FAQ

Q: Where can I buy Ghost Balm?

A: For now, Tinfoil Ghost is taking custom orders. Please send an email to tinfoilghost@gmail.com stating how many tins you would like, and where you need them delivered to.

Q: How much does a tin of Ghost Balm cost?

A: One tin of Ghost Balm is priced at $25.

Q: Can I buy Ghost Balm in bulk?

A: Yes. For bulk orders with wholesale pricing, please send an email to tinfoilghost@gmail.com.

Q: Why does the surface of the balm look rough when I open the tin?

A: After the balm is poured into the tin, it goes through a settling process where air bubbles rise to the surface, causing the balm to look bubbly and rough. This is normal. The surface of the balm will smooth out in time with continued use.

Q: Is the balm safe for internal use?

A: No. The balm is meant to be used topically. Do not ingest.

Q: Is the balm safe to use on my face?

A: The balm is skin safe, but when using in sensitive areas such as around the eyes or on the face, be wary that the aromas from the essential oils are poignant and could possibly cause irritation. It is suggested to use a pea sized amount to test out the balm on a new area of your body. If after five minutes you feel no irritation, you can use a bigger amount to treat the afflicted area.

Q: Can I use the balm around my eyes?

A: It is suggested to limit use of the balm around the eye area because of the possibilty of irritation. The essential oils in the balm are strong and could possibly cause an unpleasant feeling if too close to the eye.

Q: What happens if I touch my eyes while the balm is still on my fingers?

A: It is suggested to make sure your hands and fingers are free of balm resiude before you touch your eyes. After applying the balm to an afflicted area, wipe hands thoroughly so as to not cause irritation to your eyes.

Q: Is the balm safe for children?

A: Yes, but use with caution. The sensations caused by the essential oils in the balm can be very powerful. If treating a child, start by testing an area with a pea sized amount of balm. Let it sit for at least five minutes. If the child is okay with the feeling, you may use a bigger amount. If the sensation is too strong for them or causes discomfort, wash off the balm with soap and water.

Q: Is the balm safe for animals?

A: Ghost Balm is not recommended for use on animals.

Q: Where is it recommended to store Ghost Balm?

A: Store Ghost Balm in a cool, dry area. If exposed to extreme heat (such as sitting in a car all day) the balm will melt and become liquid. If this happens, do not fear. Place balm back in a cool area away from sun or heat and it will settle back to its original consistency. No harm done!

Q: What is the meaning behind "Tinfoil Ghost"?

A: Tinfoil Ghost is a symbol of facing fear with a shift in perspective. The ghost represents the things that scare us or hold us back, while the tinfoil hat adds a twist—transforming something frightening into something we can view with humor and clarity. By looking at our fears differently, we can take away their power and begin to move forward. Tinfoil Ghost is about transformation—turning fear into insight, and obstacles into opportunities for growth.
